The company behind $28 million Australian-UK co-production Singularity has been placed into administration, owing millions of dollars to creditors including cast, crew and suppliers. I've been meaning to read more of Charles Stross' work since I came across a fantastic collection of shorts called Toast. However, spoilers aside (two of the characters from the first book were very much alive in the second) it didn't actually detract from my enjoyment of Singularity Sky all that much, if at all.
